I started my fundraising career in 2016, learning from inspirational fundraisers at two major UK charities. In 2020 I was listed in Fundraising Magazine's 25 Under 35.

 

I then worked as a senior trust fundraiser, bringing in millions of pounds from trusts and foundations large and small, holding senior relationships, and managing early career fundraisers in my team.

 

In 2023, I moved into strategy and innovation, developing my systems thinking and problem solving capabilities while utilising my fundraising expertise. I brought people together to build high-value strategic projects, evaluated opportunities and improved processes, and supported teams to get sustainable funding.

In the summer of 2024 I left full-time employment to begin freelance work alongside beginning a Masters exploring complex systems and problems at the London Interdisciplinary School. 

​

​Throughout my Masters, I focused on how existing systems perpetuate the under-resourcing of marginalised communities, culminating in a capstone project researching how funding application forms disadvantage grassroots applicants. I am due to graduate in November 2026. 

 

Since going freelance I have worked with a number of wonderful people and organisations across a variety of causes (some of them are listed below), integrating my experience and skills to support them when they need a hand.

I am gently evolving my freelance practice to include knowledge, skills, and insights gained from my studies, and continue to provide Strategic Fundraising services to charities and social enterprises of all shapes and sizes.
